Overview of Website
Thank you for visiting my open-source website! This is a Quarto websitebuilt in RStudioand now maintained mostly in Positron. Each page is coded in a Quarto document. A YAML filequarto.yaml organizes the Quarto docs for each webpage into a functional website, which is first rendered in RStudio or Positron (or other IDE supporting quarto). Once rendered and committed locally to my local Git Repository used for version control, the files are pushed to a remote GitHub Repository The files are then processed by GitHub Actions automatically - triggered the git push - and building deployed to GitHub Pages, i.e., this website! https://candrewbasham.github.io/web/.
This website was created to illustrate my CV and advance my Quarto skill. My goal as an epidemiologist is to advance community narratives within causal epidemiological research to enable individuals and communities to contribute to the design and interpretation of statistical analyses describing their lived experiences and influencing the policies, programs, and practices that impact their lives.
